Article 97 — Penalty (벌칙)
Article 97 imposes imprisonment or a fine for the cruel killing or abuse acts prohibited under Article 10 and related violations. Article 98 — Penalty (벌칙)
Article 98 imposes a fine or imprisonment on a person who, after being ordered to complete a course (이수명령) under Article 100(1) and receiving a warning under the Act on Protection and Observation etc. (보호관찰 등에 관한 법률) or the Act on Execution of Sentence and Treatment of Inmates (형의 집행 및 수용자의 처우에 관한 법률), again without just cause fails to follow the completion-order instructions.
