Terms of Service & Disclaimer
Last updated: 2026-07-17
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing PetFood Data Station (https://petforai.com), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Service Description
PetFood Data Station is a free, public query API providing access to synthesized summaries of global pet food regulatory standards. The service is provided as-is, with no warranty of availability, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose.
3. Permitted Use
You may use this service for:
- Querying specific data points (e.g., "AAFCO 2024 dog adult protein DM basis")
- Cross-referencing 2-3 standards for comparison research
- Building AI applications that need authoritative regulatory references
- Academic research, journalism, product formulation research, regulatory work
You may not use this service to:
- Bulk-extract the entire database by enumerating topics or endpoints
- Bypass rate limits via multiple IPs, accounts, or distributed requests
- Resell or repackage the data as a competing product
- Misrepresent the data as authoritative when making regulatory or medical claims
4. Rate Limits & Anti-Abuse
The service enforces rate limits (30 requests/minute, 1000 requests/hour per IP) and an artificial 50-200ms response delay. Honeypot endpoints (/api/v1/all, /api/v1/dump, /admin) return 403/404 and log access. Circumventing these limits is a violation of these terms.
5. Data Accuracy Disclaimer
The data provided through this service is synthesized from public regulatory documents. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or currentness of any data point.
Specifically:
- Regulations change. A "2024" profile may have been amended by a 2025 or 2026 supplement. We update periodically but not in real time.
- Translations of non-English source documents (Korean 사료관리법, Japanese ペット食品安全法, Chinese GB/T standards) may contain interpretation differences. The original-language source is authoritative.
- Specific nutrient values (e.g., AAFCO adult dog protein DM = 18.0%) are reproduced from the cited source document. If the source changes, our value may lag.
- Cross-standard comparisons highlight similarities but do not imply regulatory equivalence. Different standards address different species, lifestages, and use contexts.
For regulatory, veterinary, or product-formulation decisions, always consult the original source documents. Citation links are provided in each topic's metadata for this purpose.
6. No Professional Advice
PetFood Data Station does not provide veterinary, nutritional, regulatory, or legal advice. The data is informational. Do not use this service as a substitute for:
- Consulting a licensed veterinarian for animal health decisions
- Consulting a regulatory affairs specialist for product compliance
- Consulting a legal professional for jurisdiction-specific questions
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operators of PetFood Data Station shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from use of the service, including but not limited to:
- Decisions made based on data retrieved from the service
- Service interruptions or data unavailability
- Inaccuracies in the data
- Loss of data, profits, or business opportunity
You use the service at your own risk.
8. Intellectual Property
- Source documents (AAFCO, FEDIAF, EU, USDA, MOA, etc.) are public regulatory standards. Each is governed by its own publication terms; consult the source for licensing.
- Synthesized RAG topics are released under CC-BY-4.0 — you may reuse with attribution to PetFood Data Station and the original source.
- Cross-standard nutrient index is released under the MIT License.
- Site code, HTML, CSS, API code is part of the OpenClaw ecosystem; license available on request.
9. Modifications
We may modify these terms at any time. Material changes will update the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. For significant changes, see the llm.txt file or the site changelog.
10. Governing Law
This service is operated from South Korea. Disputes shall be resolved under the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
