For products with intended use of Food Mixer/Treat, can we still use complete and balance statement on the bag if it is truthful? The purpose statement should reflect the main purpose of the product and be consistent with the feeding directions. Other marketing language (such as complete and balanced for ___ life stage can be made elsewhere on the label. The feeding directions for the additional use should be included as secondary feeding directions.

For Treat products, can we add life stage in the front, like adult dog treat, all life stages dog treat? No, the purpose statement is to be verbatim without other language, but such additional language can be added elsewhere on the principal display panel. The feeding directions would need additional directions to support the secondary nutritional claim.

On Nutrition Facts, for high dietary fiber products (eg pea fiber rich recipe), how can we label, when maximum dietary fiber level is bigger than maximum Total Carbohydrate? Dietary fiber should not exceed total carbohydrates. Dietary fiber is a subset of the total carbohydrates. It might be that they have the same maximum.
