EN (Art. 6): Once standards or specifications are set under Art. 5(1), no person may: (1) manufacture for sale pet feed by methods not conforming to the standards; (2) sell, or import for sale, pet feed manufactured by non-conforming methods; (3) sell pet feed lacking conforming labeling; (4) sell, or manufacture/import for sale, pet feed not conforming to the specifications.
- 日文原文：第七条 農林水産大臣及び環境大臣は、次に掲げる愛がん動物用飼料の使用が原因となって、愛がん動物の健康が害されることを防止するため必要があると認めるときは、農業資材審議会及び中央環境審議会の意見を聴いて、製造業者、輸入業者又は販売業者に対し、当該愛がん動物用飼料の製造、輸入又は販売を禁止することができる。
EN (Art. 7): Where necessary to prevent harm to pet animal health, the ministers may, after hearing the councils, prohibit manufacturers/importers/sellers from manufacturing, importing or selling pet feed that (1) contains or is suspected of containing hazardous substances, or (2) is or is suspected of being contaminated by pathogenic microorganisms; prohibitions must be published in the Official Gazette.
