Species or category of animal: Mammals
Essential nutritional characteristics: Minimum supply via the dietetic feed of: โ Selenium: 0,1 mg/kg complete feed with a moisture content of 12 % And/or โ Zinc: 15 mg/kg complete feed with a moisture content of 12 % And/or โ Copper: 2 mg/kg complete feed with a moisture content of 12 % for sheep and 5 mg/kg complete feed with a moisture content of 12 % for other species And/or โ Iodine: 0,2 mg/kg complete feed with a moisture content of 12 % And/or โ Manganese: 20 mg/kg complete feed with a moisture content of 12 % And/or โ Vitamin A: 1500 IU/kg complete feed with a moisture content of 12 % And/or โ Vitamin D: 400 IU/kg complete feed with a moisture content of 12 % And/or โ Vitamin E: 100 mg/kg complete feed with a moisture content of 12 % for calves and 50 mg/kg complete feed with a moisture content of 12 % for lambs, kids and piglets. The complementary feed may contain selenium, zinc, copper, iodine, manganese, vitamin A and vitamin D in a concentration higher than 100 times the relevant fixed maximum content in complete feed.
Recommended length of time: Up to 4 weeks around weaning
Labelling declarations: Name and total amount of the nutritional additives, if appropriate
Other provisions: 1. The instructions for proper use for the feed shall ensure that the respective legal maximum contents for complete feed are respected. 2. Indicate on the labelling of the feed guidance on the situations in which the use of the feed is appropriate.
