Dogs and cats

  • Essential nutritional characteristics: Linoleic acid β‰₯ 12,3 g per kg and sum of eicosapentaenoic acid and docosahexaenoic acid β‰₯ 2,9 g per kg of complete feed with a moisture content of 12 % (2)
  • Recommended length of time: Initially up to 2 months
  • Labelling declarations: β€” Linoleic acid β€” Sum of eicosapentaenoic acid and docosahexaenoic acid
  • Other provisions: Indicate on the labelling: β€” β€˜It is recommended that a veterinarian’s opinion be sought before use.’ β€” β€˜High level of linoleic acid (LA) and of sum of eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA)’
