Dogs
- Essential nutritional characteristics: High quality proteins and phosphorus β€ 5 g/kg complete feed with a moisture content of 12 % (2) and crude protein β€ 220 g/kg complete feed with a moisture content of 12 % (2)
- Recommended length of time: Initially up to 6 months (3)
- Labelling declarations: β Protein source(s) β Calcium β Phosphorus β Potassium β Sodium β Essential fatty acids (if added)
- Other provisions: 1. The feed shall be placed on the market as complete feed. 2. Recommended digestibility of proteins: minimum 85 %. 3. Adult dogs

- Essential nutritional characteristics: High density of energy with more than 8,8 MJ/kg feed with a moisture content of 12 %. Highly digestible and highly palatable sources of starch. Restricted protein level: β€ 106 g crude protein/kg feed with a moisture content of 12 %. Level of sodium: 2 g/100 kg BW per day. High level of eicosapentaenoic acid and docosahexaenoic sum β₯ 0,2 g per kg BW0,75 per day
- Recommended length of time: Initially up to six months. Long term or until resolution of the issue
- Labelling declarations: β Protein and energy source(s) β Calcium β Phosphorus β Potassium β Magnesium β Sodium β Sum of eicosapentaenoic acid and docosahexaenoic acid
- Other provisions: 1. The feed shall be placed on the market as complementary feed 2. Indicate on the labelling: β βIt is recommended that a veterinarianβs opinion be sought before use or before extending the period of use.β β The complementary feed should not be used in case of hypernatraemia and hyperchloraemia. β The complementary feed should contribute to at least 10 to 20 % of the daily energy supply (approximately 0,05 to 0,1 MJ/kg BW0,75 per day). 3. The ration should ensure an energy supply of > 0,62 MJ/kg BW0,75 per day. 4. The ration should not exceed 50 mg calcium/kg dry matter/day. 5. Indicate in the instructions for proper use: βWater should be available at all times.β
