Puppies can leave their mother at about 7–8 weeks old.puppies need to be vaccinated frequently (every 2–3 weeks) until they are about 4 months old.Most dogs reach adulthood at 9–12 months, but large and giant breed dogs can take almost 2 years to become adults.Puppies must be fed several times a day when they are young to keep up with the demands of growing.Adult dogs generally do well with feeding just once or twice a day.Puppies can benefit from having a dedicated space in which to rest or sleep, typically a crate, which helps with housetraining and other training.Many adult dogs also feel safe in a crate because it’s their own space.Diets for different life stages (puppy, adult, senior) are available in stores and online.Most adult dogs should be fed 1 to 2 times a day, while puppies need more frequent meals.However, too much exercise can be harmful, especially for out-of-shape, very young, or very old dogs.Puppies need a lot of care, including vet visits, feeding, socialization, and training.Vaccines won’t work well until this immunity fades, so puppies need to be vaccinated frequently (every 2–3 weeks) until they are about 4 months old.
