Claims

  • Laxity of the hip joint, resulting from a shallow acetabulum and/or a small, mis-shapen head of the femur. In severe cases, affected animals are lame.

  • ENERGY REQUIREMENTS Meal-restricted feeding has been shown to reduce the frequency of developmental orthopedic disease and early osteoarthritis in large- and giant-breed dogs compared to ad lib feeding2 by preventing the maximal rate of growth and therefore reducing mechanical stress to developing joint cartilage.
