UK/EU feed law — Labelling of Feed & Pet Food (Reg (EC) No 767/2009, Arts 15 & 19)

Source: Regulation (EC) No 767/2009 on the placing on the market and use of feed, consolidated English text from eur-lex (CELEX 32009R0767), retrieved 2026-07-29 via local chromium. In the UK this regulation is retained EU law (assimilated law) and applies to Great Britain with UK adaptations. This is the core EU/UK feed-labelling regulation.

This P2 topic covers the labelling layer: pet food (feed for non-food-producing animals) is subject to the general feed law, and pet-food labels must carry a free telephone number for additive/feed-material information.
