Salmonella appears in notifications across every classification and every year since 2019, peaking at 21 cases in 2023 out of that year's 36 total (58.3%).
The runner-up hazard is Enterobacteriaceae at 37 records (14.5%), then "additive" (used for unauthorized additives or composition issues) at 20 records (7.8%). Specific Salmonella serovars most frequently named: Salmonella spp. (broad, no serovar) and Salmonella Enteritidis are the most common subjects; the subject text is the only hazard indicator because the dataset does not include a separate hazards array — all hazard inferences must be done by substring matching on subject.
