Overview
FAMIC designates 4 colorant (着色料) substances and 3 preservative (保存料) substances. Colorants are restricted to specific animal species (e.g., fish, crustaceans, chickens) to achieve desired pigmentation in animal products (flesh, egg yolks). Preservatives have species-specific maximum limits to ensure feed safety.
