⚠️ Correction (2026-07-19): the previous version of this topic claimed that "Regulation 2025/639 introduced new PARNUT entries 26-30" for cognitive support, seizures, anxiety, noise phobia and post-surgical recovery. That content was fabricated: the consolidated text shows Reg (EU) 2025/639 did not alter Part B entries 26-30 (per the EU_2020_354_entries_31_49_GAP_pending_pull topic it only corrects the Slovenian language version of the Annex). Entries 26-30 exist since the original 2020/354 text and are listed below, re-verified against the consolidated text.
- Entry 26 — Support of skin function in the case of dermatosis and excessive loss of hair. Species: dogs and cats. Essential characteristics: linoleic acid ≥ 12.3 g/kg and sum of EPA+DHA ≥ 2.9 g/kg complete feed (12 % moisture); a dogs-only option requires linoleic acid ≥ 18.5 g/kg and EPA+DHA ≥ 0.39 g/kg. Use: initially up to 2 months.
- Entry 27 — Support of the metabolism of joints in the case of osteoarthritis. Species: dogs, cats. Dogs: total omega-3 fatty acids ≥ 29 g/kg and EPA ≥ 3.3 g/kg complete feed (12 % moisture), plus adequate vitamin E. Cats: total omega-3 ≥ 10.6 g/kg and DHA ≥ 2.5 g/kg (12 % moisture), plus increased methionine and manganese and adequate vitamin E. Use: initially up to 3 months.
- Entry 28 — Reduction of copper in the liver. Species: dogs. Essential characteristic: restricted level of copper — copper ≤ 8.8 mg per kg complete feed (12 % moisture). Use: initially up to 6 months.
- Entry 29 — Reduction of iodine levels in feed in case of hyperthyroidism. Species: cats. Essential characteristic: restricted level of iodine — iodine ≤ 0.26 mg per kg complete feed (12 % moisture). Use: initially up to 3 months.
- Entry 30 — Support in stressful situations, which will lead to the reduction of associated behaviour. Species: dogs. Essential characteristic: 1-3 g trypsin-hydrolysed bovine casein per kg complete feed (12 % moisture). Use: initially up to 2 months.
