AAFCO Ch6 definition 48.4 Ground Corn is the entire corn kernel ground or chopped; it must contain not more than 4% foreign material, and it may also appear in the ingredient list of a mixed feed as Corn Meal or Corn Chop (Published 1931). Note: the official AAFCO name is "Ground Corn" — Chapter Six has no separate "Ground Yellow Corn" definition; where a color-designated name is used, the product must correspond to it under the general naming rules. The AAFCO definition sets no compositional specifications (starch, protein, fat, fiber or linoleic-acid figures are literature/supplier values, not definition criteria).
