Context Within Multi-Year PFLM Timeline
This 2019 meeting was the first formal PFC action that became the seed of the multi-year Pet Food Label Modernization (PFLM) project. The PF3(e) "95% claims" rule was a long-standing provision dating back to the 1970s/80s; its strike + the PF4(g) feeding-directions clarification were the foundation that MBRC used from 2020 forward to build the modern PF sections.
