{"topic_id":"kr_control_fao_030","category":"korea-2026","context":"---\ntopic_id: kr_control_fao_030\ncategory: KR-CONTROL-FAO\ntitle: Article 31 (Delegation and Entrustment of Authority)\nlang: en\nsource: control_of_livestock_and_fish_feed_act_fao.pdf\ndate_parsed: 2026-07-18\ntokens_estimated: 1134\n---\n\nArticle 31 (Delegation and Entrustment of Authority)\n(1) The Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs may delegate part of his or her authority under\nthis Act to the heads of affiliated agencies under his or her control or each Mayor/Do Governor, as\nprescribed by Presidential Decree. <Amended on Mar. 23, 2013>\n(2) The Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs may entrust a feed-related organization with work\nfor receiving feed-import declarations and testing feed under Article 19, as prescribed by Presidential\nDecree. <Amended on Mar. 23, 2013>\n(3) Each Mayor/Do Governor may entrust a feed-related organization with work for the registration of\ningredients under Article 12 (1), as prescribed by Presidential Decree.\n\nArticle 32 (Legal Fiction as Public Officials for Purposes of Applying Penalty Provisions)\nAn executive officer or employee of a feed testing and inspection institution who engages in inspecting\nfeed for certification, an executive officer or employee of a feed testing institution who engages in testing\nfeed pursuant to Article 22, or an executive or employee of a feed-related organization who engages in\n\nwork entrusted pursuant to Article 31 (2) and (3), shall be deemed as a public official for purposes of\napplying penalty provisions under Articles 129 through 132 of the Criminal Act. <Amended on Dec. 31,\n2018>\n\nCHAPTER VI?PENALTY PROVISIONS\n\nArticle 33 (Penalty Provisions)\nAny of the following persons shall be punished by imprisonment with labor for not more than three years\nor by a fine not exceeding 30 million won: <Amended on Feb. 3, 2015>\n1.
