{"topic_id":"kr_control_fao_016","category":"korea-2026","context":"---\ntopic_id: kr_control_fao_016\ncategory: KR-CONTROL-FAO\ntitle: Article 19 (Report on Import of Feed)\nlang: en\nsource: control_of_livestock_and_fish_feed_act_fao.pdf\ndate_parsed: 2026-07-18\ntokens_estimated: 1227\n---\n\nArticle 19 (Report on Import of Feed)\n(1) Where a feed importer intends to import feed determined and publicly notified by the Minister of\nAgriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, the feed importer shall file a report on such import with the Minister\nof Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, as prescribed by Ministerial Decree of Agriculture, Food and\nRural Affairs. <Amended on Mar. 23, 2013>\n(2) Where a good cause prescribed by Ministerial Decree of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs exists,\nsuch as securing the safety of feed and stabilizing feed supply and demand, the Minister of Agriculture,\nFood and Rural Affairs shall assign competent public officials to inspect the feed reported under paragraph\n(1) for certification, before the completion of customs clearance. <Amended on Mar. 23, 2013>\n(3) Where an importer files a report under paragraph (1) along with an inspection certificate issued by a\nfeed testing and inspection institution designated pursuant to Article 20-2 (1) (hereinafter referred to as\n\"feed testing and inspection institution\") or a feed testing institution under Article 22, the importer may be\ndeemed to have passed the inspection under paragraph (2) or may undergo the inspection with inspection\nitems adjusted, as prescribed by Ministerial Decree of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs. <Amended on\nMar. 23, 2013; Dec. 31, 2018; Feb. 11, 2020>\n\n(4) The Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs upon receipt of a report prescribed in paragraph\n(1) shall review the details of the report and accept the report if it is in compliance with this Act. <Added\non Dec. 31, 2018>\n\n(5) Matters necessary for the items and method of, and the procedure for, inspections under paragraph (2)\nshall be prescribed by Ministerial Decree of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs. <Amended on Mar. 23,\n2013; Dec. 31, 2018>\n","sources":[],"tokens_estimated":1227,"generated_at":null,"tip":"Use /api/v1/topics to discover more topics. /api/v1/nutrient for precise single-point queries. /api/v1/cross_compare for 2-3 standard comparisons."}
