Feed that contains a toxic substance harmful to human bodies or animals or a persistent residue of\nsuch toxic substance beyond permissible limits;\n2. Feed that contains a residue of animal medicine beyond permissible limits;\n3. Feed contaminated by pathogens that cause a disease to human bodies or animals or considerably\ndecomposed or deteriorated and thus unsuitable for use as feed;\n4. Except as provided in subparagraphs 1 through 3, feed determined and publicly notified by the\nMinister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs as one which undermines the viability of livestock\nproduction by hindering animals from maintaining their health or growing;\n5. Feed manufactured or imported without filing for registration of ingredients;\n6. Feed imported without filing an import declaration under Article 19 (1);\n7. By-products of animals and food leftovers, determined and publicly notified by the Minister of\nAgriculture, Food and Rural Affairs as those banned from being used as feed because such by-products\nand leftovers are likely to be a cause of such a disease of human bodies and animals determined and\npublicly notified by the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs.\n(2) No one shall use feed specified in paragraph (1) 7 as feed for animals.\n(3) A manufacturer, importer, or distributor shall not sell feed whose expiration date has passed, or store\nor display it for the purpose of sale. <Added on Oct. 24, 2023>\n(4) The scope of toxic substances and animal medicines under paragraph (1) 1 and 2 and permissible\nstandards therefor shall be prescribed and publicly notified by the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural\nAffairs. <Amended on Mar. 23, 2013; Oct. 24, 2023>\n","sources":[],"tokens_estimated":1320,"generated_at":null,"tip":"Use /api/v1/topics to discover more topics. /api/v1/nutrient for precise single-point queries. /api/v1/cross_compare for 2-3 standard comparisons."}
