Data were collected using an online questionnaire distributed to rabbit owners (<i>n</i> = 529). The study assessed owner-reported husbandry practices and perceived knowledge but did not include direct assessments of rabbit health or welfare. Although most respondents reported high levels of knowledge regarding rabbit care (85.6%), this was not consistently reflected in implemented husbandry practices. Higher perceived knowledge was significantly associated (<i>p</i> < 0.05) with environmental enrichment, housing type, and cleaning frequency, but these associations were generally weak to moderate. In contrast, perceived knowledge showed little or no association with several key welfare-related practices, including social housing and access to free movement, while only limited associations were observed for feeding practices. These findings reveal a substantial knowledge-practice gap, suggesting that confidence in rabbit care knowledge does not necessarily translate into appropriate husbandry. Curcuma longa leaves were investigated in this study as a possible source of cellulose-based scaffolding for use in biomedical applications. After cuticle removal, an immersion decellularization technique utilizing sodium dodecyl sulphate (SDS) and triton-X-100 was developed to successfully remove cellular and nuclear material while maintaining leaf parenchyma architecture. Histology, DAPI staining, scanning electron microscopy, and a notable decrease in leftover DNA content all demonstrated efficient decellularization. When contrasted with native leaves, the resultant decellularized C. longa leaf scaffolds showed significant increase in porosity, water vapor transmission rate and swelling percent, and significantly lower contact angle with an optimum surface roughness promoting cell adhesion. Canine Social and Learning Behavior Survey questionnaires were administered, and serum oxidative stress markers were assessed.<h4>Results</h4>By month 6, the mean ± SD of CSLB was 35.1 ± 4.9 in the CPE group vs 41.1 ± 5.3 (P < .05; Cohen's d = -1.17; 95% CI for d: -1.63 to -0.72) in the placebo group. The successful therapeutic response was 77.8% (95% CI, 63.2-88.0) in the CPE group vs 9.3% (95% CI, 3.1-22.3; P < .001) in the placebo group. The study included two treatment groups and a healthy control group, each comprising 10 dogs. Treatment efficacy was assessed through haemato-biochemical analysis and estimation of parasite load by relative quantification (RQ) real-time PCR over different observation points on day 0, 10, 28, 60, 90 and 180. The relative quantity of B. gibsoni 18S rRNA gene in canine blood samples was normalized against the canine β-actin gene using the 2<sup>-ΔΔCt</sup> method. The infected dogs exhibited normocytic-normochromic anaemia, thrombocytopenia, hypoproteinaemia, hyperglobulinemia, hyperbilirubinemia, azotaemia, high serum alkaline phosphatase and aspartate transaminase level whereas, mean creatinine level were found within normal physiological range. This study revealed that AAA therapy was associated with sustained superior efficacy with respect to haemato-biochemical remission and progressive reduction of parasitaemia, whereas DCM therapy revealed initial improvement followed by recrudescence. The negative Log RQ value demonstrated 10<sup>LogRQ</sup> times reduction in parasite associated transcript load on subsequent observation days compared to the baseline. A decrease exceeding 5 log RQ in parasite transcript level depicted a complete parasitic clearance, outperforming raw cycle threshold (Ct) values for clearance evaluation. The system required the rabbit does to push a transparent door to gain access to the compartments. The workload became progressively heavier at 48-hour intervals (ranging from 0 to 150 g of added weight) during an 8-day test period. This experimental setup was replicated across four consecutive trials (in total 32 trial days), and behavioral data were video-recorded for 60 min per day. Outcomes evaluated included time-budget allocation (group vs. individual areas, and specific resource choices within the individual areas), daily visits per doe, visit probability, and a comprehensive suite of animal-economics indices (elasticity of demand, expenditure rate, consumer surplus, and effort budget allocation). The results demonstrated that does spent significantly more time in the central group area than in the individual compartments overall; however, this allocation was strongly influenced by the door weight. Among the individual compartments, the zone containing straw accounted for the highest time allocation (17.5%), followed by the hiding box (8.6%), the empty control (3.0%), and sand (1.8%). Daily visits to these individual areas systematically declined as the workload cost increased, showing distinct motivational differences among the resources (straw > hiding box > control > sand). In conclusion, these preliminary behavioral trends suggest that individual seclusion could be considered a price-dependent, non-essential resource for nulliparous rabbits under these conditions. Beyond these specific behavioral findings, this study successfully validates a robust methodological framework. By integrating standardized pen architecture, controlled workload increments, automated door systems, and animal-economics processing indices, this model establishes a scalable framework. Abstract (opening): Rabbit meat is increasingly valued for its high nutritional quality, driving growing interest in enhancing its production through phytobiotics like plant-based flavonoid blend (PFB). So, this study looked at how a PFB at different doses influences the performance, digestibility, gut microbiota, blood biomarkers, liver health, and meat quality of growing rabbits. Sixty rabbits (body weight 552.63 ± 13.44 g) were assigned at random to five dietary groups, having twelve replicates per group. The rabbits were fed a basal diet as a total mixed ration having 17.02% crude protein and 11.60 MJ metabolizable energy/kg dry matter (DM), supplemented with PFB (g/kg diet) at 0.0 (control), 0.20, 0.40, 0.60, and 0.80. Following a 2 weeks adjustment period, the feeding trial was conducted for 5 weeks. When the trial was over, rabbits were sacrificed to collect digesta, blood, and meat samples for further analysis. Supplementation with PFB at 0.60 g/kg diet (range: 0.50-0.70 g/kg) showed a better final body weight (<i>p</i> = 0.01), weight gain (<i>p</i> < 0.001), and feed conversion ratio (<i>p</i> < 0.001), while significantly improving DM, nitrogen-free extract (<i>p</i> < 0.001), and ether extract (<i>p</i> = 0.02) digestibility. Besides, supplementation with PFB presented a linear reduction in <i>Escherichia coli</i> (<i>p</i> = 0.003), accompanied by linear improvement in <i>Lactobacillus</i> spp. (<i>p</i> < 0.001) and serum high density lipoprotein-cholesterol (HDL-C; <i>p</i> = 0.001). Broken-line analysis indicated optimal PFB supplementation levels of 0.60, 0.47, and 0.60 g/kg diet for <i>E. coli, Lactobacillus</i> spp., and HDL-C, respectively. However, feed intake, serum triglycerides, other cholesterols, total protein, albumin, globulin, and uric acid remained unchanged across the groups. Abstract (opening): Enterovirus G (EV-G) is an important enteric pathogen widely circulating in swine populations and is characterized by considerable genetic diversity and recombination potential. In recent years, recombinant EV-G strains carrying exogenous papain-like cysteine protease (PLCP) gene insertions have been increasingly reported; however, their genotype distribution and molecular characteristics in major pig-producing regions remain poorly understood. In this study, 356 clinical samples collected from Guangxi, southern China, between 2020 and 2025 were screened for EV-G, and 13 representative strains were subjected to whole-genome sequencing and sequence analysis. The overall EV-G positivity rate in Guangxi was 20.51% (73/356). Phylogenetic analysis showed that the 13 Guangxi EV-G strains were mainly classified into three genotypes, G1, G2, and G8, with G1 being the predominant genotype. Notably, PLCP gene insertions of 573-642 nt were identified at the 2C/3A junction in seven strains belonging to three distinct genotypes, G1, G2, and G8, demonstrating the cross-genotype distribution of PLCP insertions within a single geographic region. Phylogenetic analysis of the PLCP sequences demonstrated that all Guangxi-derived PLCP sequences clustered within the EV-G-PLCP clade and were clearly separated from the torovirus PLCP clade. Recombination analysis retained three potential recombination events with clearer combined support from RDP4 and SimPlot analyses, involving Guangxi strains GX3008, GX3022, and GX4292. Selection pressure analysis showed that the VP1 gene was overall under negative selection. Collectively, these findings demonstrate the co-circulation of multiple EV-G genotypes, the cross-genotype distribution of PLCP insertions, and the presence of potential recombination events in Guangxi. In the current study, flow cytometry and CCK-8 assays were used to investigate the effect of the TRPV3 gene on the proliferation and apoptosis of dermal papilla cells (DPCs) in rabbit hair follicles (HFs). Results showed that the TRPV3 gene regulates the mRNA expression of genes involved in HF development (BMP4, SFRP2, TGF-β1, WNT5a, and STAT1), as detected by qRT-PCR analysis. The core promoter region of TRPV3 was identified through dual luciferase activity tests, and Sanger sequencing was used to detect polymorphisms in both the exonic and promoter regions of TRPV3. The analysis showed a single SNP in the exon region, which had no significant association with wool production. However, five SNPs were detected in the promoter region, with the g.48897415G> A site showing a significant association with wool production in Zhexi Angora rabbits. Moreover, rabbits carrying the AA genotype also showed higher transcriptional activity. The mutation at g.48897415G> A in the promoter region introduced seven extra transcription factors (TFs) (RFX4, RFX3, RFX2, ZNF45, RFX1, Zfp668, and ZNF655). In conclusion, the g.48897415G > A mutation in TRPV3 is significantly associated with wool yield, and the TRPV3 gene inhibits the proliferation of DPCs. Here, using a single antibody-secreting cell (ASC) precise localization and sorting strategy, we discovered five rabbit monoclonal antibodies (RmAbs) with distinct recognition profiles to florfenicol (FF) and FF amine (FFA). Among them, RmAb-A4# exhibited superior performance, featuring high-affinity dual recognition of FF and FFA, with IC50 values of 0.07 ng/mL and 0.16 ng/mL in ELISA, demonstrating approximately 40-fold and 20-fold greater affinity compared to the best mouse monoclonal antibody (MmAb) 4F8 we previously reported, surpassing the reported antibodies derived from the mouse by 2-463-fold. As revealed by molecular docking and dynamic simulations, this enhancement is attributed to a more open binding pocket of RmAb-A4# and more hydrogen bonding interactions with FF and FFA. More importantly, RmAb-A4# displayed remarkable halotolerance (18-5000 mM NaCl) and enhanced pH stability (pH 4-9) in comparison to MmAb-4F8. Based on RmAb-A4#, a lateral flow immunoassay enabling rapid detection of FF and FFA was developed without pretreatment for milk and with a 3-fold dilution for eggs.
