The department shall examine the application materials within 10 working days from acceptance (自受理申请之日起 10 个工作日内); where examination passes, samples are submitted to a designated institution for re-inspection (复核检测); where re-inspection passes, the department shall issue the certificate within 10 working days (10 个工作日内核发).\n\n**Validity and renewal.** The certificate is valid for 5 years (有效期为 5 年).
